Saint-Tropez is a commune of the Var département in southern France, located on the French Riviera. It is frequently called the Marbella of France as it`s a very popular holiday destination with the rich and famous.
Each year, in October, a regatta is held in the bay of Saint-Tropez. Many tourists come to the location for this event or as a stop on their trip to Cannes, Marseille or Nice.
Many of the beaches offer windsurfing, sailing, etc.
